Hurt

Today I have been told that I am neglecting my family.

Today I have been fed lies about conversations that I have been a part of.

Today my actions have been called into question.

My usual response would be to scream, shout, swear from the depths of hell and cut everyone off.

Today I am choosing an alternative route.

Sometimes, the most loving and thoughtful thing that a person can do is not act or react, for fear of causing hurt.  When you hear things you do not agree with you can distance yourself or you can let it drain your energy and cause more pain.

I do not apologise to anyone.

I choose to talk about whatever I  want in my blog.

IT IS MY BLOG.

You are, of course, free to choose whether or not to read it.  That is as much your right as it is mine to write it.  I will not be offended.  I have said many times that most people do not understand me, nor do I care.

BUT

Loving someone is more than agreeing with them.  Sometimes when you love someone, you have to step back and let them learn their own lessons.

Nobody will dictate to me what I can and cannot do.  I make considered and thoughtful decisions.  There is no spite and no malice attached.  If you choose to believe there is, I suggest you stop reading right now. Unfollow me, if you haven’t already done so.

I will not engage in power games. I am 48 years old.

If you choose to make decisions about me based on lies, misconception and your inflated ego, we have nothing further to say.

For those of you that enjoy what I write, thank you for staying with me on this difficult journey.
